rock on

Doing this project has made me realize that the people that put band tours together work really hard at this. We had to just pick some cities and places to play at and that was pretty time consuming for us. I cant even think of the steps and process it would take to set up a real tour. Marketing, venues that are not booked, setting ticket prices, getting items to sell at the concert, transportion, and hotels. We just went and chose what and when we wanted something not looking at the big picture and all the factors that play into this.

We targeted more of the emo i guess u would say people. we had that layed back depressing music i guess. i didnt really choose pick the band type i just went along but i liked it, it was a cool thing cause i like all kinds of music so this wasnt bad.

It was a nice fun project but idk if i knew what we used all the sports marketing trems for but i did learn alot from this project

SpRiNg BrEaK 09

This was by far the best spring break i have had in years. I hung out with my friends, went on some dates with my girl friend, and best i partied everyday. The parties i went to were not school appropriate, so i wont really talk about it. It was good not having to wake up and go to school.

MY NIKE ad


This ad just shows us how popular Nike is around the world to where they really just have to a swoosh sign and people will know who they are. The product is Nike shoes, the place as we all know is shoe stores. the promotion is using a kid peeing on a wall and the wall says just do it. and it really doesn't have a price because it depends on the product u get.

There once was a man named Product Service Management who had a crush on the chick named Marketing-Information Management. They fell in love and wanted to get married but they didn't have all the tools to do so. They called upon there friends Financing, Pricing, Promotion, Distribution, and Selling to help them plan the wedding. They called Financing to help them Find a cheap but not run down place to get married just the right spot to look good in. Then they called Promotion to get the news out to the family and friends they had. Pricing was next on the list they needed help on how much they should pay for all the things in the wedding. Last but not least they needed Distribution to come and make sure every body got a thank you gift and they all got it as they left to go home because they did want them to for get or drop it while they were dancing so they wouldn't damage it.

The commercial that i really liked was the E-trader.com one. It had talking babies and they were singing. It targeted the older generation that has kids and that have stocks to trade and such. It wasn't really for our age because not many of us has stock and babies. Through it all I really liked the commercial because of the comedy.

salt and water

today was a good day even though we lost in the compition. we had to transport water and salt from one cup another using only a paper towel and a spoon. we tried to be smart and transport the water wit the paper towel be for we transported the salt so the salt was kinda wet when we did it but all and all we had fun and saw some of the stuff the real business go through but on a much larger scale.

the project went well me and calvin wanted to be different and do something funny so we did urbandictionary.com what is a web site for slang words. it was fun doing the project and learning all these slang words and it really helped me remember the 4 P's in marketing.
